Learn the Pilates Method
with Classical Instruction

At Turning Point Fitness, we embrace the Classical Pilates Method, helping you understand not just what to do, but why it works. We will help you build strength, move better, and feel more connected to your body.

Whether you are brand new to Pilates or looking to deepen your practice, out studio provides personalized instruction rooted in the original Pilates Method created by Joseph Pilates.

Because the Method works, and when you understand it, you can get results that change your body and mind.

Start with a Private Session

We recommend beginning your Pilates journey with two private sessions.

During your one-on-one session, you’ll:

  • Learn the foundations of the Pilates Method
  • Become familiar with the apparatus
  • Receive personalized instruction
  • Build a plan for your Pilates practice

Private sessions help you safely build confidence before moving into semi-private or group classes.

Semi-Private Sessions

These sessions combine personalized instruction with the accountability and encouragement of a small group setting.

Semi-private sessions include 2–3 participants and offer a supportive environment to continue building your Pilates practice.

Many clients transition into semi-private sessions after building a foundational understanding through private instruction.

And if you don’t already have a partner, we’ll help find the right fit for you.

Group Pilates Classes

Our small group classes provide you with personal attention while you build your Pilates practice and have fun moving with others. Classes focus on:

  • Strength
  • Flexibility
  • Posture
  • Balance
  • Control

Pilates Tower Classes

Our most popular class combines Pilates mat work with tower exercises using springs, bars, and resistance to challenge strength and flexibility.

Reformer & Chair Classes

These apparatus-based classes are designed for students with prior instruction and provide a fun, challenging full-body workout.

Pilates Mat Classes

The mat exercises are the heart of the Pilates Method. These classes focus on core strength, flexibility, control, and precision through the original exercises created by Joseph Pilates.

Have Questions? We’ve Got Answers!

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I PRACTICE PILATES?

For the best results, we recommend practicing Pilates consistently two to three times per week. Even once a week can create meaningful progress over time.

DO I NEED PILATES EXPERIENCE TO START?

Not at all. Many of our clients begin with no Pilates experience, and we’ll guide you every step of the way.

WHY START WITH PRIVATE SESSIONS?

Private instruction helps you safely learn the method, understand the equipment, and build confidence before joining group classes.
