Introduction to Pilates Offered

Always wanted to try Pilates but uncomfortable joining a class? At this 5-week Introduction to Pilates session, we'll start with the basics...all in a safe and friendly environment. C'mon and try it!

"I began taking one-on-one Reformer sessions with Lisa in November2007 after being released from physical therapy due to intense lower back, neck and arm pain.  I’ve always done some form of exercise but nothing compares to the benefits gained from doing Pilates, especially on the Reformer.  It’s the one activity I hate to miss and I always look forward to my sessions. I chose to do the Reformer sessions because I needed someone to make sure I was getting the maximum results without injury.  While I also do the mat sessions, I’m not always as disciplined to push myself.  With Lisa focused on me, I can’t slack off.   Lisa is always encouraging, motivating and mindful of where my limitations are.  At first, the Reformer & Chair “contraptions” seemed a bit intimidating…so many things to learn, I thought I’d never be able to do it.  Lisa is wonderful.  She’s patient but insistent on ensuring you do the moves accurately to get the most benefit.
